My store is still issuing SAT receipts after 31 December. Am I already in violation?
Yes. The SAT system was officially decommissioned by Sefaz-SP on 31 December 2025. Any coupon issued after that date is considered fiscally invalid, and your business is exposed to fines and potential suspension of your state registration (inscrição estadual). The sooner you migrate, the smaller the risk period.
Do I need to buy new POS hardware to issue NFC-e?
In most cases, no. NFC-e is software-based, so if your existing checkout computer meets minimum specifications, we can install the AUTOMAT system and configure everything without replacing the terminal. We assess this during our free 24-hour diagnostic step — you'll know the hardware situation before committing to anything.
Will my checkout stop working during the migration?
No — this is a core part of our method. We plan the switchover around your quietest trading window (often before opening or after close). The AUTOMAT system also runs in offline contingency mode, so even if internet connectivity is briefly interrupted during the transition, invoices continue to be issued without interruption.
What exactly is the A1 digital certificate and why do I need it?
The A1 certificate is a cryptographic credential that Sefaz requires to authenticate every NFC-e invoice your store sends. Think of it as your store's digital signature — without it, invoices cannot be transmitted to or approved by the tax authority. We handle issuance, installation and annual renewal as part of our service, so you never have to think about it.
How long does the full migration process take?
The vast majority of our clients are live on NFC-e within five business days of starting. Day one is the diagnostic; days two and three cover certification and Sefaz registration; days four and five are AUTOMAT configuration, team training and go-live. Complex multi-terminal setups may take a few additional days, which we'll flag upfront.
What happens after go-live — is there ongoing support?
Yes, direct and personal. After migration, you have a WhatsApp line to the same technicians who configured your store.
